Tahoe Boats for Sale

Tahoe builds fiberglass bowriders and deck boats sold as boat, motor and trailer packages by Bass Pro Shops' boat company. They're aimed at families who want an 11-person boat that can pull a tuber without a premium-brand price.

Part of the Tracker family

Johnny Morris opened Bass Pro Shops in 1972 and in 1978 launched the Bass Tracker, which the company calls the first boat, engine and trailer package. Tahoe joined the lineup in 1998. Its parent today is White River Marine Group, which says it is the world's largest boat builder by volume. Sister brands include Tracker, Ranger, Triton, Nitro, Sun Tracker, Regency, Mako and Hatteras.

Tahoes are sold with a no-haggle national price that includes the outboard and trailer. For 2027 the T21 lists at $43,995 base with a Mercury 150 XL Pro XS, before prep and freight.

The T21 bowrider

The T21 is 21 feet 5 inches long with an 8-foot-2 beam, 16 degrees of deadrise and a 42-gallon tank. It's rated for 11 people and 200 hp, and weighs about 2,150 pounds dry. Hydrostep strakes run along the Powerglide hull, and a removable ski pylon is standard.

Boating tested a 2024 T21 in September 2023 with a Mercury 200 Pro XS. It hit 57 mph, planed in 3 seconds, reached 30 mph in 4.5 seconds and held plane down to 16 mph, which suits watersports. Tested price was $46,825. Boating's one gripe was the frameless acrylic windscreen, which has no top rail to grab when boarding.

The 2150 deck boat

The 2150 is the deck boat in the range: 21 feet 1 inch long, 8-foot-6 beam, 20 degrees of deadrise, 42 gallons of fuel, 11 people, 150 to 225 hp. BoatTEST's 2016 test with a 225 Verado hit 51.1 mph at 5,900 rpm. Best cruise was 31.8 mph at 4,000 rpm burning 8.85 gph, for 149 miles of range. It planed in 4.3 seconds, with brief bow rise that blocked the driver's view. In turns it came around in a short radius, which BoatTEST noted helps when you circle back for a fallen skier.

Used 2150s are cheap. Late-2026 Boat Trader listings ran from $22,995 for a 2018 with a 150 and 200 hours in New Jersey, to $28,995 for a 2022 in Georgia and $39,999 for a 2023 with a Mercury 200 at an Oklahoma dealer, to $42,500 for a 2021 with a 200 and about 100 hours, sold privately in Lake Worth, Florida.

Buying checks for a Tahoe

Note the horsepower. Most used 2150s carry the base 150. A 200 adds real value, which explains much of the price spread.

Check the freshwater system. The 2150 has a refreshment center with a sink and a 5-gallon tank. Make sure the pump works and the lines were winterized.

Look under the deck boat's seats. Tahoe finishes storage in gelcoat. Check the hatches and hinges, and look for standing water in the compartments.

Inspect the trailer package. Tahoes are sold with a trailer. If the original has been replaced, make sure the new one is rated for the boat and motor.
